Academic departments have an important and vital role in getting plans and strategies off the ground, and implementing visions and indicators in accordance with the National Transformation Program 2020 and the Kingdom Vision 2030. The university is keen on promoting the level of faculties, academic departments and research centers through ensuring the fulfillment of quality standards according to national measures that align with international quality accreditations. Thus, the idea of founding the forum of heads and supervisors of academic departments was created to point out the importance of quality standards that the university seeks according to national and international measures.

The Forum presents samples of the most important successful experiments and thoughts that have formed the bright sides of those academic departments. It is time to showcase these thoughts and experiments and benefit all other departments.

Therefore, the Forum represents the core that reflects the essential role of the academic departments starting from planning and concluding with the executing of the programs at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The valuable exchange of successful experiences leads to the required improvement and development of the educational process and ultimately enhances the educational process.

We also hope that the Forum contributes to the development at the administrative level and benefits all the sections and units at the University. We also hope to discuss the challenges that are faced by the heads of the academic departments and the supervisors and address the obstacles.
